C10/GEN 1
A basic concrete mix typically used for non-structural applications such as strip footings and trench fill, commonly known as “footings mix
C20/GEN 3
Well-suited for domestic foundations including garages, extensions, and conservatories. Can also be used for reinforced bases and over-site slabs
C25
Used mainly as a pump mix for footings, flooring and various domestic and light commercial applications.
C30
Used in areas requiring extra strength such as unstable ground, paved surfaces, and interior floors like those in garages and workshops.
C35
Provides added durability for structural elements under stress. Suitable for piling, industrial floors, and high-traffic areas.
PAV 1/ PAV 2
These mixes incorporate air-entrainment to improve resistance to frost damage. Commonly used for outdoor slabs and paving — PAV 1 is equivalent to C30, PAV 2 to C35.
C40
Designed for demanding environments such as roads, slurry tanks, and agricultural use. Its high strength resists corrosion from chemicals and frequent use.
